For some reason (...) at the idiots' forum (!!) they keep coming up threads about I2C modules not working, not easy to use etc. And I find it so funny (so to say) that people spend time trying to get those modules working, modules that usually can do a lot of fancy things such as higher speed, 10bit addressing, multimaster etc... ...while all that most people would need is a simple Master I2C code, performing Write, Read... and not much more! So I decided to post the code I've been using for almost 20 years now, with just slight changes over the years (and over the platforms). Take a look at it all! swi2c.zip (6.52 KB)

Of course, when a I2C slave is needed things get a bit more complicated but...
I've got a nice C18 implementation interrupt-driven that works well enough. Stay tuned!
